EDEN, the major EU project to protect the food chain
On September 1st 2013 started the major European project on Security. The EDEN Large Project accounts for 39 participants from all Europe and beyond with a budget of over €35M. Tecnoalimenti is a key participant and member of the EDEN Steering Committee. It is leading one out of three pillars: innovative systems to provide security in the European food chains. This project is supported by the European Union under the Security Programme with the title “End-user driven Demo for CBRNE” and is coordinated by British BAE Systems. Its aim is to develop and test new technological systems to prevent, manage and restore large scale contamination incidents.
